Korzen Health is working with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area.

We are currently hiring a PMHNP for an Inpatient position in SC. You must possess a SC NP license with SC DEA.

Job details:

• PRN PMHNP for inpatient role at our new hospital location, weekend or ad-hoc.
  
• Would also like to find a few more PRN PMHNPs for weekend and ad-hoc coverage.
• Assist in tour 22-bed adult inpatient unit which offers specialized care, cognitive therapy and individualized psychotherapy

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients mental health status, medication needs, and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, social workers, and medical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication for clients, with a focus on minimizing side effects and monitoring for drug interactions.
• Provide medication education to clients and family members to ensure proper compliance and understanding.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices, new research, and medications related to psychiatric and behavioral health care.
