3D Print Lab Engineering Associate

Our  Avionics Platform COE team within Honeywell Electronic Solutions has an opportunity for a 3D Print Lab Engineering Associate, whether you have experience in 3D Printing or have to passion for engineering and interest in transitioning into 3D Printing for the first time. 

• You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions in the fast-paced and cutting-edge field of avionics and aerospace technology.
• In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our 3D Print Lab and supporting our engineering team in various tasks, ensuring high-quality output for a wide range of aerospace applications.
• Your responsibilities will include being the focal point for the 3D Print Lab, coordinating and fulfilling 3D Print requests, maintaining organizational metrics, assisting with procurement and shipping, and ensuring the proper maintenance of our 3D Printers.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for our 3D Print Lab, ensuring its smooth operation and efficiency.
• Maintain organizational metrics to track and improve the performance of the 3D Print Lab.
• Assist with procurement and shipping tasks, ensuring timely delivery of required materials.
• Coordinate 3D Print requests from various teams, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 3D Printers to ensure their optimal performance.
• Provide Quotation Estimate and Build Time to customers

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma
• Experience in Engineering, with technician experience being highly desirable.

WE VALUE

• Basic insight into SAP tools/processes is a plus.
• Background in hardware avionics is a plus.
• Familiarity with Avionics products and processes is a plus
• Insight into engineering practices.
• Good communication skills to effectively work with team members.
• Strong customer focus to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage different priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Insight into Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements.
