Warehouse Associate

Day Shift 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Temp to Hire

$18-19 per hour DOE

A worldwide distributor for specialty stainless steel needs your great eye for detail! This is a fantastic, stable company where openings don't come up very often!

Responsibilities:

-Pull orders

-Package orders

Required skills:

-Ability to accurately measure pipe and pull fittings and flanges

-Eye for detail to be able to pull product according to heat number

-Overhead crane preferred

-Forklift preferred

-Tape measure experience is a MUST (you will be tested)

-Experience using mics and calipers is preferred but will train

* Receive, store, and issue merchandise, materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard to fill shelves, racks, tables, or customers' orders. May operate power equipment to fill orders. May mark prices on merchandise and set up sales displays.
* Complete order receipts.
* Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection.
* Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
* Keep records of out-going orders.
* Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
* Operate equipment such as forklifts.
* Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
* Receive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise.
