Job Details

• Radiation Therapist is responsible for administration of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Accountable for the simulation of patients in preparation of radiation therapy, basic patient care and education.
• Responsible for checking prescription, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification.
• Prepares room and equipment for the patient according to the prescription.
• Performs treatment simulation and all that it requires for procedure.
• Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Requirements must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
• Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
