LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Description & Requirements"Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).\n**Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**\n\nNot accepting locals.\n\nIU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour\n\nMUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT. \n\nIf candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package they are eligible to apply\n\nFirst Time Travelers Accepted\n\nShift Requirements: 3x12s ONLY\n\n*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract\n\n*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.\n\nCertification Requirements: BCLS\n\nSkillset Preferences: Central line experience, post-op patient assessments, experience with drains (foleys, JP drains, NG tubes)\n\nFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals\n\nStaffing Ratios: 1:5-6 depending on staffing\n\nUnit Information: 2North is a 15 bed, fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit that specializes in a variety of patient populations. These populations include: Gynecology-Oncology, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sickle Cell Anemia.
