Tax Accountant
San Antonio, TX | On-Site, 5 Days a Week
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Tax and Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns and related fuel tax filings
Maintain and review NetSuite tax exemptions for customers
Prepare and manage Resale & Exemption Certificates , Gasoline Blendstock Certificates , and Multi-Jurisdictional Sales Certificates for vendors
Ensure compliance with bonds, licenses, and other governmental requirements
Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to tax liabilities
Stay up to date with taxation rules, policies, and filing procedures
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
What You Bring to the Role
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and tax software like Avalara
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Excel with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
3+ years of relevant tax experience
