Salary: Up to $90,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant with 3+ years of tax experience to join our team in La Porte, IN . This fully onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in tax compliance, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations , identifying and implementing tax-saving opportunities.
• Assist in tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities.
• Conduct research on tax issues and legislation changes to provide accurate recommendations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports to support tax filings and audits .
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting .
• Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and assist with audits as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required).
• MBA in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred).
• CPA certification (Preferred or actively pursuing).
• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting (Public accounting experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and IRS guidelines .
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail .
