About the job SAP FICO Functional Consultant Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our team based in the Utah time zone to support and optimize our SAP financial systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of SAP FICO functionalities. Key Responsibilities: Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications. Configure and customize SAP FICO modules to meet business process requirements, particularly in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other modules and external systems. Provide end-user training and support during SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Conduct thorough testing of SAP configurations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements. Analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions to optimize financial operations and improve efficiency. Assist in the resolution of production issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO modules. Stay updated on SAP best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and maximize system performance. Document functional specifications, configurations, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules. Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization, including integration with other SAP modules. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications is highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify innovative solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
