# OF POSITIONS: 1

Purpose: To use best practices and technology within a community-based residential setting to support and stabilize youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). To plan and implement Child/Family Team (CFT) interventions and schedule milieu staff to assist youth in building skills needed to move to a less restrictive Intensity of Service (IOS). Requirements: Master's Degree and three years' experience in the I/DD field, at least one year of which shall be in a supervisory capacity. Valid driver's license with good driving record. Intermediate level of computer literacy. The ability to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds. The ability to sit, bend, squat, reach, and stand for several hours at a time. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally (in English), and non-verbally when necessary (specific to Youth communication abilities). Basic knowledge of vehicle and home maintenance. Responsibilities: Works a 40 hour per week salaried, unlimited schedule. On call 24 hours a day in cooperation with other management staff. Assures that milieu staff perform duties as determined in the DCF Children's System of Care (CSOC) Minimum Staff Requirements. Assures that all staff participate in an in-house orientation upon hire and receive at minimum continuous training that is specific to Youth needs (suicide prevention, health and wellness, types of IDD, types of dual diagnoses, interacting with families and other stakeholders, Youth rights, service planning, and the program model). Serves as a leader who models the Allies, Inc. Mission, Vision, and Philosophy and the prevailing best practices for CSAP programs. Assures that evacuation drills are conducted monthly and varied. Monitors and ensures that milieu staff accurately document active treatment in the electronic health record (Therap). Reports, monitors, and schedules house and vehicle maintenance. Serves as an active member of the CFT and participates in service planning. Ensures that Youth are supported in a safe, clean, and nurturing therapeutic environment. Completes milieu staff evaluations according to the Allies, Inc. policy and procedure. Completes and submits on SharePoint the weekly fire-safety report, the monthly environmental review, monthly evacuation drills, and the monthly vehicle summary. Successfully completes required residential training, including but not limited to: New Hire Orientation; CPR and First Aid; Medication Administration; Preventing Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation; Shifting Expectations, Life Experience and Services; Life Threatening Emergencies (Danielle's Law); Stephen Komninos' Law; Crisis Management; Corporate Compliance; General Behavior; In-House Orientation; and other required trainings. Completes annual training, including role specific trainings relative to Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement. Attends conferences, seminars, and other trainings relevant to the position.
