Summary:
The Non-Agency Account Specialist is responsible for providing critical support to the sales, underwriting, and operations teams by managing the
processing and structuring of mortgage loan transactions. This role involves analyzing and facilitating the structuring of complex mortgage deals,
ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and providing guidance on pricing, product options, and loan structuring.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Deal Structuring and Analysis:
Work closely with sales and underwriting teams to analyze complex loan deals, including pricing, product options, and risk factors. Provide
support and recommendations on structuring deals that align with company policies and profitability goals.
• Pricing and Risk Management:
Assess the best loan options for clients based on their specific financial situations and the company's portfolio.
• Coordination and Communication:
Act as the liaison between sales, underwriting, operations teams and Non-QM Investors ensuring smooth communication and timely
processing of transactions. Address questions or concerns related to deal structuring, pricing, exceptions and underwriting conditions.
• Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure that all necessary documentation for mortgage deals is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain records of all deal desk activities, including
pricing decisions, approvals, and client communications.
• Problem Resolution:
Provide support in resolving complex issues that arise during the loan origination process, including troubleshooting problems with deal
structure, pricing discrepancies, or underwriting challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and underwriting guidelines (e.g., FHA, VA, USDA, conventional loans).
Familiarity with pricing models, secondary market guidelines, and investor requirements.
Good with Customer Service and collaborating with production, credit admin and non agency investors and team.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field
preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Jumbo/ Non-QM underwriting, and past
experience with either Account Executive position or Loan Originator of Non-QM loans. Prior experience working directly with Non-QM
Investors to negotiate exceptions and prior experience with deal desk or pricing teams is a plus.
• 2-4 Years in Jumbo and Conventional Conforming & High Balance
• 1-2 years or Non Agency Products (Non QM)
Skills : Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents and write
routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situation.
Computer Skills : Sound working knowledge of computer and office
software operations and systems.
▪ Strong understanding of mortgage products, pricing, and loan structuring.
▪ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
▪ Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing mortgage deal
documents.
▪ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
▪ Proficient in mortgage-related software and Microsoft Office
Suite.
