Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join a rapidly growing surgical and healthcare organization based in Mississippi. This is a fulltime opportunity working across different regions to support geriatric patients for blood drawing needs.

This position will be a traveling focused role, with professionals entering nursing homes across an established region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to various locations to collect blood samples from patients, ensuring high-quality and safe collection practices. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to patients’ homes, nursing homes, or other facilities to collect blood samples.
• Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before sample collection.
• Perform venipunctures and other blood collection procedures following established protocols.
• Label and store blood samples accurately for transportation to the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate records of all blood draws and patient interactions.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and maintained.
• Provide a high level of patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in phlebotomy preferred.
• Valid phlebotomy certification and/or licensure as required by state regulations.
• Prior experience in phlebotomy, preferably in a mobile setting.
• Strong knowledge of blood collection techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to perform blood collection procedures.

Compensation will be based off experience and educational background.
