Job Overview

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for two exciting, newly launching platforms :

🔹 Howl – A groundbreaking community engagement platform that connects people to what matters most in their local neighborhoods.

🔹 Workplay – A cutting-edge sports tech app designed to revolutionize the way lacrosse players and coaches train, connect, and grow.

Both platforms are in the early stages of launch , offering a unique opportunity for career growth . The right candidate will play a critical role in shaping brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement —with the potential to scale into a Marketing Director role as these brands grow.

Additionally, this role involves supporting other business ventures owned by the founder, including a coworking space and an insurance company , as needed. If you’re an ambitious, data-driven marketer looking for autonomy, ownership, and rapid career advancement , this is the role for you.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & Growth

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies from the ground up for Howl & Workplay.
  • Identify growth opportunities and refine user acquisition tactics.
  • Align marketing efforts with business objectives and KPIs .
  • Build strong brand positioning in competitive markets.

Digital Advertising & Performance Marketing

  • Launch and manage Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and other paid media to drive brand awareness and conversions.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance metrics for maximum ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, messaging, and landing pages.
  • Collaborate with external ad specialists if needed.

Content & Social Media Strategy

  • Establish and manage social media channels for both brands (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Develop a content calendar aligned with growth initiatives and product launches.
  • Oversee and create engaging content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and social media updates .
  • Track social media trends and adjust strategy to increase engagement.

Email Marketing & Audience Engagement

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to engage users and drive retention.
  • Segment audiences and create personalized email sequences for maximum impact.
  • Analyze open rates, CTRs, and conversion metrics , making continuous optimizations.

Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Track and analyze marketing KPIs using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other platforms .
  • Provide monthly reports and actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Adjust marketing strategies based on performance data and industry trends .

Project & Team Management

  • Coordinate with freelancers, designers, copywriters, and agencies to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee marketing timelines and ensure smooth execution of campaigns .
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer support teams to align marketing efforts.

Additional Business Involvement

  • Assist with branding, events, and marketing for a coworking space .
  • Occasionally support marketing efforts for an insurance company , such as ad placements and content updates.
  • Be open to ad hoc projects as needed within the founder’s business portfolio.

Ideal Candidate Profile

3+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or a similar role.

✅ Hands-on experience with content marketing, social media management, and paid advertising .

✅ Data-driven mindset with experience tracking marketing performance and making optimizations .

✅ Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar design tools .

✅ Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and drive execution .

✅ Experience coordinating with freelancers and agencies to deliver marketing campaigns.

Bonus: Passion for sports, particularly lacrosse , is a plus!
