Ghosal Luxury Lodging (ghosallodging.com) is a highly rated boutique luxury cabin company in the Smoky Mountains. We OWN every property we offer. This incentivizes us to keep our properties in perfect shape and ensures the highest level of personal attention to our guests. Our properties are BRAND NEW and were designed and built by our team. We packed them with amenities like indoor heated pool, hot tubs, movie theater, game room (pool table) and a variety of arcade games. Given that the principals of the company have a technology background, we leverage technology and tools to enable us to work smarter. With just 22 high end properties, we provide our employees with a healthy work/life balance.

Even more exciting, we are developing multiple micro-lodging/Tiny Home parks - Sojourn Resorts. Our micro-lodges resemble cozy cottages built on a transportable frame. The first Sojourn opens in March 2025. With around 30 units, it will include amenities like viewing decks, pickle ball courts, food trucks, walking trails, fire pits – everything our guests would need for an unforgettable vacation. Other Sojourn Resorts are slated to open in Chattanooga, Asheville, Shenandoah, Savannah and other exciting locations.

Job Description

We are looking for a high performing maintenance manager to join our team. As an owner operated hospitality company, we are looking for candidates to take ownership in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of cabins and tiny homes.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

  • Train and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

  • Report weekly and monthly metrics to Management Team

  • Technology savvy and able to work with software tools required for this position

Key Task Summary

  • Checklist Management/Breezeway Maintenance

  • Monthly/Quarterly Reviews 

  • Inventory Management

  • Ordering and Procurement 

  • Vendor Management

Requirements

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role, including managing budgets for the department.

  • Ability to bring creative solution to tough maintenance problems

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team effectively.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

  • College Degree Preferred

Schedule :

  • Evening shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Night shift

  • Weekends as needed
