If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Insurance Underwriter. An insurance underwriter's job is to assess the risk of potential insurance applicants and decide whether to offer them coverage:

• Review applications: Underwriters review insurance applications and supporting documentation.

• Assess clients: Underwriters evaluate clients' financial status, backgrounds, and other information, such as age, marital status, medical history, and driving record.

• Analyze risk: Underwriters use underwriting software to analyze the risk profile of potential clients.

• Determine coverage: Underwriters decide whether to offer coverage and, if so, what the terms and conditions will be. They also determine coverage amounts and premiums.

• Re-assess risk: Underwriters re-assess risk when policies come up for renewal.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of insurance underwriting experience.
• State insurance license (Property & Casualty).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with insurance software and CRM systems.
• Willingness to pursue professional designations (e.g., CISR, CIC).
