Position Overview: The Park Place Hotel, a historic gem in the heart of Traverse City, is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to fill an urgent full-time opening. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in upholding the 1930s elegance of our hotel by ensuring clean, comfortable, and inviting spaces for our guests. Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish amenities as needed.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas.
• Ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals with meticulous attention to detail.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with laundry duties, including folding and organizing linens.
• Uphold all hotel safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests, offering assistance when needed.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate.
