I'm the Hospitalist Medical Director at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ. I have been with Sound Physicians since 2015 and enjoy helping to lead the team as the Hospitalist Medical Director. We are growing our Physician team and are looking for new colleagues to join us. We welcome new graduates as well as seasoned clinicians. I'd like to share more about who we are and what we do - specifically about our people, practice, and purpose - as you consider your options:

• Join this team of eight physicians.
• Our team is comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational and training backgrounds.
• Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transition of care.
• J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered

• We work in an open ICU environment with 12 ICU beds
• The Hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team
• We procedures and we are responsible for performing intubations, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures and vent management.
• The hospitalist team are required to be ACLS and BLS certified
• We use Cerner EMR and have access to Sound Physicians internal informatics platform
