Customer Care Representative Job Duties

The Customer Care Representative enthusiastically facilitates the process of sales, check out, payment, product fulfillment, delivery, and ensures a positive Slumberland experience for our customers.
  • Passionate about customer experience with the ability to cultivate loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional customer service and support
  • Process web orders; communicate to stores and customers via email and phone on order completion or issues
  • Manage incoming chat sessions for the entire organization via chatting personally with the customer or connecting them to a store employee
  • Self-motivated to solve problems and find the best possible solutions to balance customer expectations and company interests
  • Become a subject matter expert on the products and services offered, practicing selling strategies, and achieve performance objectives set by the leadership team

Requirements

Customer Care Representative Job Requirements
  • High school diploma and a minimum of one-year administrative or customer service experience
  • General working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook with proven success in office communication techniques
  • Retail software and ECommerce experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate high level functioning under pressure
  • Ability to use hands for typing for up to 10 hours per day
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays
