Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our virtual learning environment serving students in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and skilled in delivering individualized instruction in an online setting.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
- Create and deliver engaging virtual lessons that acmodate various learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate acmodations and modifications
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and plete all required documentation
- Conduct virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
- Provide specialized instruction in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Monitor and assess student achievement through various digital platforms
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Maryland teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in Special Education
- Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual learning platforms
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal munication skills
- Experience with behavior management and positive intervention strategies

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with virtual learning platforms and digital educational tools
- Ability to build rapport with students and families in a virtual environment
