Automotive Service Appointment Specialist (BDC)

The Clay Cooley Auto Group is actively seeking energetic and customer-focused Service Appointment Specialist to help create better initial impressions and set appointments for our expanding Service Department. The Appointment Specialist must possess a passion for developing relationships and providing exceptional customer service!

Role Responsibilities:

• In a timely manner, manages numerous inbound/outbound calls and emails. The Appointment Specialist corresponds with potential customers to provide additional opportunities for the Sales and Service departments.
• Identifies customers' needs and provides information on Sales/Service appointments and availability. The Appointment Specialist collaborates with the Sales/Service team to provide alternative solutions for issues to promote increased traffic in the dealerships.
• Completes extensive documentation of all inquiries with customers within the management system.
• Prospects and analyzes new appointments using database lists provided by dealer management system. The Appointment Specialist provides professional written correspondence to potential customers and for both Service and Sales needs.

Employee Prerequisites:

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Work availability: Monday through Saturday, with a rotation on Saturday.
• Experience with inbound/outbound calls preferred, automotive experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer knowledge
