Job Description

The Account Executive position is responsible for meeting the assigned revenue goal per year for assigned accounts. This position will find or create opportunities by supporting existing clients. The Account Executive is responsible for taking on all customer requests and needs that arise whether a positive or negative engagement. He or She must be the catalyst and advocate for the customer to the rest of M3T. The gauge of success is reflected by how satisfied the customers are with the overall M3T experience. This role requires a strategic mind set to be successful while obtaining new business.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the following areas: Access Control/CCTV/Power Doors/Gates/Intercom/Physical (Environmental) Security/Security Architecture and Design
• Trustworthy professional

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field
• 2 Years of Project Management Experience
• 2 Years of Sales or Account Management Experience

 

Customer Service and Relationship Management

  • Provide excellent customer service to assigned clients and accounts.
  • Responsible for fostering positive customer experiences with M3T, working closely with the M3T team to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Maintain a culture that establishes M3T as our customer’s trusted security advisor.
  • Communicate with prospects to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and propose solutions to meet those needs.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales process, with a focus on growing the company’s sales volume profitably.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to sell additional products/services to current customers.
  • Achieve individual quotas, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Conduct prospecting actions as set by the manager such as cold calling and giving presentations.

Market Growth

  • Grow M3T’s market presence across our operating region.

Sales Process and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities and input information promptly in our ERP System.
  • Perform site surveys for estimate requests when required.
  • Write proposals and Statements of Work, present to client and follow-up to close the business.

Continuous Improvement and Learning

  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.

Additional Duties

  • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership to accomplish new and different requests.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet company objectives.
